Indianapolis learning from San Antonio as it gears up for Final Four return in 2026

As city officials and community leaders look ahead to next years Final Four in Indianapolis, they are on location in San Antonio to do some important homework. Its a project theyve been working on for years.

Weve traveled to the host cities of the Final Four in the years leading up to our turn to host, said Patrick Talty, president of the Indiana Sports Corp. We want to learn about the event. Whats new? Whats different? What can we take from the cities that are doing it that we could use in Indy?

Talty mentioned touring a Final Four Music Fest in San Antonio to learn how people line up, what kind of security is needed and how they could implement something similar here.
