A new online mapping tool offers a glimpse of some of the citys most dangerous roads.
The platform, developed by Indy nonprofit Health by Design, is collecting data on safety concerns as part of the citys Vision Zero plan, a policy initiative that involves redesigning infrastructure with the goal of reducing or eliminating trafficrelated deaths and serious injuries.
Residents can report everything from dangerous driver behavior and nearmiss incidents to crumbling sidewalks and dangerous intersections. The tool allows users to drop points on a map and document safety concerns they have experienced or observed.
