Indianapolis woman who pleaded guilty in 2 separate fatal crashes to be sentenced Thursday

An Indianapolis woman, charged in two separate fatal crashes, will be sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to two counts of reckless homicide.

Dr. Brian Dillman, an emergency room physician and father, was walking on the sidewalk near 49th and Meridian streets on May 19, 2022, when he was struck and killed. Kelli Anderson was behind the wheel of the car that hit him.

Investigators say Anderson was told by doctors after that crash that she was a high risk to herself and others and should not drive for six months until cleared by a neurologist. Anderson allegedly told doctors she understood.
