Indiana lawmakers were told to expect a lot of uncertainty for the economy over the next two years, and almost 2.4 billion less in revenue through 2027.
Lawmakers were told that there is roughly a 35% chance of a modest recession peaking in 2026 before rebounding in 2027.
The April revenue forecast is the most uptodate predictions for the economy and how that could impact the states finances. It was delivered on April 16, as lawmakers prepare to finalize the state budget for the next two years.
