Terre Haute girl killed, second child injured when ambulance collides with bicycle

A 13yearold girl was killed and another child was injured when their bicycle collided with an ambulance in Terre Haute Tuesday evening.

According to the Terre Haute Police Department, the children were riding a bicycle at South 13th Street and Wheeler Avenue on the citys south side around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday when they were struck. The TransCare ambulance involved in the collision was en route to a singlevehicle accident with injury at another location in Vigo County when the crash occurred.
