The primary focus on the forecast this weekend will be the severe threat going into Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of that, well see well above average temperatures continuing with highs back in the low to mid 70s this afternoon. While we sit on the warm side of a low pressure system stalled out across the Great Lakes region, moisture from the Gulf will bring occasional rain showers throughout the day.
Now for Sunday…
Indiana has been upgraded to a Level 3 severe threat for about 90% of the state. We are preparing for a significant severe weather event on Sunday, March 30, from the afternoon through the early night hours. All modes of severe weather are possible, including damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes.
