Civil lawsuit dismissed involving IPS teacher allegedly recording, encouraging students to fight

Both parties have agreed to dismiss the civil lawsuit that claimed a former Indianapolis Public Schools teacher orchestrated what they call a fight clubtype of discipline in his classroom.

According to publicly available IPS documents, the district has issued checks worth more than 1.2 million to someone with the same name as the victims mother.
