A new freeze warning is in effect across Indiana for Friday night into Saturday morning as temperatures drop to the high 20s and low 30s.
It will be a bit cooler today across central Indiana thanks to some north winds up to 20 mph. Afternoon highs will stay in the 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. More clouds are likely in the morning and more sun is likely in the afternoon. We should see a gradual clearing of the clouds later today.

China announced Friday that it will raise tariffs on U.S. goods from 84% to 125% the latest salvo in an escalating trade war between the worlds two largest economies that has rattled markets and raised fears of a global slowdown.
While U.S. President Donald Trump paused import taxes this week for other countries, he raised tariffs on China and they now total 145%. China has denounced the policy as economic bullying and promised countermeasures. The new tariffs begin Saturday.

The Supreme Court on Thursday said the Trump administration must facilitate the return of a Maryland man who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador, rejecting the administrations emergency appeal.
The court acted in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran citizen who had an immigration court order preventing his deportation to his native country over fears he would face persecution from local gangs.

The U.S. Postal Service is seeking a rate increase this summer that includes hiking the cost of a firstclass stamp from 73 cents to 78 cents.
The request was made on Wednesday to the Postal Regulatory Commission, which must OK the proposal. If approved, the 5cent increase for a forever stamp and similar increases for postcards, metered letters and international mail would take effect July 13.
