Ball State Universitys board has approved a resolution they say brings the school into compliance with President Donald Trumps executive orders on DEI initiatives, the university said Thursday.

In a message to students and staff, President Geoffrey Mearns said the resolution by the board of trustees was in response to an executive order issued by the president in January.

A U.S. District Court Judge has denied a request to protect the legal status of seven Indiana college students.

All of the students are citizens of other countries, studying in Indiana on student visas. The Department of Homeland Security revoked their legal status without explanation, according to the ACLU of Indiana, which is suing on the students behalf.

Google has been branded an abusive monopolist by a federal judge for the second time in less than a year, this time for illegally exploiting some of its online marketing technology to boost the profits fueling an internet empire currently worth 1.8 trillion.

The ruling issued Thursday by U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema in Virginia comes on the heels of a separate decision in August that concluded Googles namesake search engine has been illegally leveraging its dominance to stifle competition and innovation.

Warm and windy weather is on tap for today as we begin the big Easter weekend. Look for a high of 80 degrees today with gusts to 40 mph this morning and afternoon.

Late tonight and into tomorrow we have a slight risk for severe weather with storms rolling through Indiana. It looks like the biggest threat would be heavy downpours of rain with the potential for damaging wind.
