Heres when and where the first Wawa is opening in Indiana
Wawa has announced the opening date and location of its first store in Indiana.
The grand opening at the Daleville store, located at 16100 W. Commerce Road, will be Thursday, May 15.
According to a news release, up to 10 Wawa stores are expected to open in Indiana by the end of 2025.

The Indianapolis Colts have released kicker Matt Gay.
The team made the announcement on social media Thursday, April 10.
The Colts now have one kicker on their roster Spencer Shrader a 2024 undrafted free agent who spent time last season with the Colts, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.

Light north winds will help temperatures to drop to the upper 20s tonight across Indiana, bringing the chance of a light freeze. We ll quickly warm up this weekend. Enjoy lots of sunshine this Saturday and Sunday.
At worst, it will be a light freeze tonight, not a hard, killing freeze. However sensitive or tropical plants and blooms can easily be damaged.

EF1 tornado confirmed in Princeton, Indiana See the map of the damage (April 10, 2025)
A brief, EF1 tornado hit the east side of Princeton Community High School campus, crossed Main Street and pushed into the NE side of Princeton.
Hail and wind reports came in across southern Indiana as well.

Indianapolis woman to spend 84 more days in jail after pleading guilty in 2 separate fatal crashes
An Indianapolis woman, charged in two separate fatal crashes, was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to two counts of reckless homicide.
The judge sentenced Kelli Anderson to 84 more days in jail, followed by three years of supervised probation. Her license is also suspended for 10 years. Anderson got the maximum threeyear sentence but got credit for time she had already served while awaiting trial.

City of Muncie still paying firefighter 2 years after telling him to stop coming to work
The city of Muncie has been paying a firefighter to NOT work for nearly two years, and some city leaders say its time for that to change.
Muncie Fire Department captain Troy Dulaney has been on paid administrative leave accused of leading an exam cheating scheme since May 2023, and he has been collecting his full salary the whole time.
According to city salary records obtained by 13 Investigates, Dulaney has collected 138,416.61 to stay home during his paid leave.
City records also show the Muncie Fire Department has paid approximately 151,000 in overtime to other firefighters who covered Dulaneys shifts while hes been ordered to not report to work.
