18yearold from Indianapolis arrested in Texas for alleged role in January homicide
IMPD homicide detectives, with the help from multiple agencies, arrested an 18yearold man and a 19yearold woman for their alleged roles in a deadly shooting on the north side of Indianapolis in January.
Around 1:15 a.m. Jan. 25, IMPD officers responded to the 4900 block of East 49th Street, near North Arlington Avenue, on a report of shots fired.

25 arrested Wednesday during Johnson County drug busts
Officers in Johnson County arrested dozens of people Wednesday morning during a countywide drug bust.
Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess confirmed to 13News that officers have arrested 25 out of the 45 people theyre seeking as of 12:30 p.m. April 16.

Indiana National Guard to return after mobilization to US southern border
A mobilization of about 50 members of the Indiana National Guard sent to the U.S. southern border is ending, and members deployed on the mission will return in the coming weeks, officials said Wednesday.
Operation Lone Star began in April 2024 when the Indiana contingent was sent to provide support to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and the members of the Texas National Guard. The request for Indiana assistance came from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in early 2024.

Terre Haute girl killed, second child injured when ambulance collides with bicycle
A 13yearold girl was killed and another child was injured when their bicycle collided with an ambulance in Terre Haute Tuesday evening.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department, the children were riding a bicycle at South 13th Street and Wheeler Avenue on the citys south side around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday when they were struck. The TransCare ambulance involved in the collision was en route to a singlevehicle accident with injury at another location in Vigo County when the crash occurred.

Menendez brothers resentencing hearing to begin Thursday in Los Angeles
Erik and Lyle Menendez could learn this week whether theyll get reduced sentences and the chance for freedom nearly 30 years after they were convicted of murdering their parents.
A Los Angeles judge will preside over the resentencing hearing expected to last two days starting Thursday. The judge could make a verbal decision during the hearing or rule later with a written decision. If he shortens their sentences, the brothers would still need approval from the states parole board to get out of prison.

A warm front will pass by over Indiana with some extra clouds and a few showers, especially this afternoon. More storms are possible by Friday night.
The cold front that helps to spark the severe storm chances Friday night will get stuck, bringing a very wet pattern into Easter weekend. Will it rain all the time during Easter, no… However when it does rain, it could pour at times.
