President Donald Trump says Wednesday will be Liberation Day a moment when he plans to roll out a set of tariffs that he promises will free the United States from foreign goods.

The details of Trumps next round of import taxes are still sketchy. Most economic analyses say average U.S. families would have to absorb the cost of his tariffs in the form of higher prices and lower incomes. But an undeterred Trump is inviting CEOs to the White House to say they are investing hundreds of billions of dollars in new projects to avoid the import taxes.

The bodies of three of the four soldiers who were operating in an armored vehicle that sank into a mud sinkhole in a bog in Lithuania have been recovered, the Secretary of the Army announced Monday.

It is with profound sorrow that I share the heartbreaking news of the loss of three brave soldiers from the 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, who tragically lost their lives during a vehicle recovery mission in Lithuania, a statement by Army Secretary Daniel P. Driscoll said.

The 3rd Infantry Division is based out of Fort Stewart in Georgia. The fourth solider has not been found the statement said, We will not rest until the fourth and final soldier is found and brought home.

A recent study has shed light on the growing housing affordability crisis, revealing that the income required to purchase a medianpriced home in the United States has surged by 50% since the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic.

As of today, Americans now need an annual income of about 117,000 to qualify for a mortgage on a medianpriced homea dramatic increase from prepandemic levels.

We found, no surprise, that the housing affordability squeeze keeps tightening, said Jeff Ostrowski, an analyst with Bankrate.com, which just released the results of its study.
