An Indianapolis woman, charged in two separate fatal crashes, was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to two counts of reckless homicide.
The judge sentenced Kelli Anderson to 84 more days in jail, followed by three years of supervised probation. Her license is also suspended for 10 years. Anderson got the maximum threeyear sentence but got credit for time she had already served while awaiting trial.
The city of Muncie has been paying a firefighter to NOT work for nearly two years, and some city leaders say its time for that to change.
Muncie Fire Department captain Troy Dulaney has been on paid administrative leave accused of leading an exam cheating scheme since May 2023, and he has been collecting his full salary the whole time.
According to city salary records obtained by 13 Investigates, Dulaney has collected 138,416.61 to stay home during his paid leave.
City records also show the Muncie Fire Department has paid approximately 151,000 in overtime to other firefighters who covered Dulaneys shifts while hes been ordered to not report to work.

A bicyclist is dead following a crash on the near southeast side of Indianapolis.
According to IMPD, around 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, officers were called to the intersection of East Troy Avenue and Tindall Street on a report of an injury crash.
When officers arrived, they found a motorcyclist and a bicyclist had crashed. IEMS took both to an area hospital. The motorcyclist was reported to be awake and breathing while the bicyclist was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival at the hospital.
